Jim Larranaga has countless stories to tell during his 35 years in college coaching.  From recruiting Ralph Sampson when he was an assistant at Virginia to taking his George Mason Patriots to the Final Four, Coach L has seen it all. 

During his career, he has also witnessed the changes in technology and recruiting.  He was one of the first to have a cell phone in his car when the device was the size of a suitcase.  He purchased computers for his entire staff when that was uncommon.  He also became one of the first fifty Scoutware customers.

Organization and impact is a key ingredient of success for Coach Larranaga.  When he became aware of Scoutware in October of 2004, he saw what his program could accomplish and purchased the service the day of the demonstration.  Today, he and his staff communicate with everyone important to the George Mason basketball program and, of course, they have a lot to talk about.
