The answer to both questions is yes. Absolutely.

First, as an information management and electronic messaging tool, using Scoutware is no different - from a compliance perspective - than using AOL or Hotmail to communicate with recruits and their coaches and families. Mechanically, it's the same thing.

Conversely, Scoutware is not a scouting service as we provide no form of personal information, recruit or otherwise, to the coaches who use our tools. Coaches bring all the personal data. Scoutware also does not initiate any communication directly with recruits - we only provide a tremendous means for coaches to communicate directly with recruits.

Simply go online to access, generate, and print correspondence, phone, contact, evaluation, and visit logs, including email logs. Sort by sport, coach, and recruit. Or with just a click or two of the mouse, make it possible for a coach to set in motion a paperless process which culminates in your office with a fully realized compliance report, complete with the same digital signature that might otherwise be placed in an email.

The backbone of the Scoutware Compliance site revolves around the ability to manage data across time. You can import data directly from the coaches Scoutware sites, saving data entry time and ensuring data consistency. You can also export data in a number of formats to feed other programs ranging from excel spreadsheets to the NCAA Compliance Assistant internet (CAi).

Having a single point of access allows for a more comprehensive database throughout the department. This provides a terrific way to improve your communications with current student athletes.
